Lets keep the momentum going. I revised the goal some after discovering the AG cant change the sentence but they cant petition to change prosecutorial discretion and give the victims a bigger voice in the event of a plea deal being considered. It doesnt mean victims decide the outcome it means that the prosecutor will have to explain why they are choosing to do so holding them more accountable. It also involves the victims in the stipulations of said aggreement. Ultimately they will still hold the final decision but they will have to explain why holding them accountable and that will go on record. This is a great way to protect us victims and ensure that everyone is held accountable for their actions and decisions moving forward.
