Since the tragic passing of Patel, Babubhai and this petitions creation we have surpassed over 340 signatures in the last 48 hours.

Please share this petition if you can to help us reach our goal of 2000 signatures before it is brought to council with the proposal for a crosswalk or other safety measures installed .

Opinions of signee’s were considered when adjusting the petitions discription in the last 48 hours. 

Our prayers go out to the family of the deceased and hopefully this petition can help prevent the losses felt this passed weekend for other people’s loved ones and children. 

Yesterday a interview was conducted with a sootoday journalist to discuss the petitions goals and about the events that transpired, hopefully in the next days a news article will be published to help gain traction for the petition to help reach our goals so that this doesn’t happen again.
