Petition Update:

Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition so far! We want to provide a quick update on why I am thinking about who else this affects.

As a military town, many of us are part of a close-knit community with a significant number of active duty military members. These individuals often have deep ties to Pokémon and have been fans since childhood. Just like many of us, they want to share this experience with their children and enjoy this hobby together. However, the current state of Pokémon vending machines in retail stores has made it increasingly difficult for them, and all of us, to get a fair and equitable chance to purchase cards.

The ongoing issue of scalpers, who hoard large quantities of cards for resale at inflated prices, does not only affect children but our military families too. We want to ensure that everyone, especially those who are dedicated to this hobby, gets a fair shot. Whether it’s an active duty member coming home after a long shift or a child excited about the cards, no one should be forced to deal with the frustration of watching someone else clear out the vending machine before they even get a chance.

We are calling for action not just for the families in our community, but for all families who deserve a fair, respectful, and enjoyable Pokémon experience.

We ask once again for retail stores and The Pokémon Company to take this seriously and ensure that everyone, especially our military families and children, can experience this hobby without the stress of competition from scalpers.

Please keep sharing this petition and help us create the change that’s desperately needed.

Thank you for your continued support!
