Petition for the Equal Enforcement of Ireland's Animal Welfare Laws

We, the undersigned, call on the Irish Government and An Garda Síochána to ensure that Ireland's animal welfare laws are applied fairly and consistently to everyone, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, or cultural background.

Ireland has laws protecting animals from cruelty, and these laws should be enforced without exception. If any person is found to have committed an offence involving unnecessary suffering or cruelty to an animal, the matter should be investigated thoroughly and, where appropriate, prosecuted in accordance with Irish law.

We also ask for greater transparency from the relevant authorities when incidents involving alleged animal cruelty occur, so that the public can have confidence that the law is being applied equally.

This petition is not directed against any community or nationality. It is a call for equal treatment under the law, accountability, and the consistent enforcement of Ireland's animal welfare legislation.

We respectfully ask the Government and An Garda Síochána to:

- Ensure all allegations of animal cruelty are investigated promptly.

- Apply Irish animal welfare laws equally to all individuals.

- Communicate clearly with the public about the outcome of investigations where appropriate.

- Continue to uphold the rule of law and protect animal welfare throughout
