Hello everyone,

I am told there have been some commitments made to Endometriosis funding and accessibility, but I shall not hold my breath.

I have been tirelessly advocating for cannabis access as always and I am proud to share with you all, my latest contribution to Cannabis Health News, along with the perspectives of those living with Endometriosis in other countries.

I attended a press conference in February launching the #WhatAboutUs campaign to widen the MCAP program in Ireland to include chronic pain ahead of its 5 year review this year.  Find RTE’s coverage here - RTE News

You can find the full video of my speech inside the conference here - Facebook Video - or - Instagram Video

I will be one of the speakers outside the Dail on Wednesday April 20th, 2022 with a protest also planned for the day.  I would be most grateful if you could make it and completely understand the physical restrictions most will be experiencing so no pressure whatsoever to take part in the walk, but your presence would be most appreciated regardless.

We will meet at 2pm at the Garden of Remembrance

More information can be found here - Facebook MGCR or here - Instagram MGCR

We also have a Picnic in the Park style event on Saturday 23rd 2022 which is always a fantastic family day out.  There will be lots of raffles and giveaways on the day with featured speakers and yoga with the well being powerhouse that is @mindyourself365

We will be meeting at the Wellington Monument in the Pheonix Park at 2pm.  Bring some lunch and a blanket and enjoy a day out with the kids to support a worthy cause.

We have seen massive shifts in many societal aspects over the past number of years in Ireland.  Cannabis reform will be no different.  The only thing stopping us from invoking real change is the amount of people in fear of admitting their own cannabis consumption, or supporting those who consume.  We want to eliminate that fear by liberating cannabis consumers and breaking the stigma because we are not criminals and the law should reflect society's changing attitudes.

Please choose to show up and support us where you can because as long as there is any stigma associated with cannabis consumption, patients who wait 10 years to be recognized as a diagnosed patient with endometriosis are left at risk of being labelled drug addicts when in fact, they are self medicating.  We need cannabis removed from the Misuse of Drugs Act and we are counting on the public to help us achieve this crucial goal.

We all know someone with a condition that cannabis will be beneficial to, show up on their behalf.

Don't wait until we die to say Rest in Peace, stand up and fight for us all to Live in Peace.

Many thanks as always for your continued support.

Love and light,

Aimee x
