South Korea has now made it illegal to kill dogs for their meat, however, this does not effect the consumption of dog meat. Approximately 1,000,000 innocent dogs are eaten each year. While they banned the killing of dogs for meat, sadly, this does not affect the atrocity of the Yulin dog festival which set off yesterday. Dogs are being poisoned, burned, beaten, stabbed, skinned all while being alive as we speak. We need to keep the pressure on and keep going.
