Thank you for everyone that has supported this petition,but we need to do more, this country is supposed to be the lucky country and it certainly doesn't feel like it anymore.The law does states that no one should be considered guilty before having a fair trial, that's not exactly true when an entire department of police officers cone swarming into your home , causing a spectacle just at the sheer volume of them, arrest you, charge you with a statement of an accessory to a crime,go on the media and give your name out in relation to that charge and defame your character with blatant lies that can be 100 proven to be lies and then throw you in jail for what I'm told is remand but could take years to reach a conclusion through the court system and the only legal counsel you've had the entire ordeal was a phone call lasting a few minutes because like many other victims of over zealous police who don't bat an eyelid at destroying somebodies life, freedom, family,hopes and dreams for the future.I need more signatures to make a difference, everywhere I turn nobody will help or listen,I tried to lodge a complaint to the ombudsman due to multiple requests for mental health services and to be prescribed regular medications that were denied from the moment he was arrested despite needing to be on,was basically told I have no authority to lodge a complaint for a 19 year old and he can do it himself.Have they ever tried to seek medical or mental health services in jail? I wonder because he puts in request after request and gets told to stop and says he will once he gets help, he is documented as a suicide watch and clearly has self harm scars and on every form states his nor feeling he can cope without his usual medication and we can see a massive decline and looks to be barely functioning and we get told he can file a complaint himself,we are clearly recorded and videotaped where he makes comments about self harming and asks me to get help.Hoe is this ok to treat somebody like this, anybody,let alone a 19 year old scared kid with a disability and mental illness who is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty?
