Johnny wishes to express with sincere gratitude his appreciation for Georgetown University’s Prison snd Justice Initiative Program!  The students and Faculty first learned of Johns case in November, 2018 During the Valentino Dixon Golf Saved My Life event in which I, (Karen) personally took John’s case summary to Marty Tankleff & Marc Howard.  Shortly after (January, 2019). The great news that Johns case was chosen came!   The 3 Students assigned to John are extremely bright, caring and determined to “bring Brookins home “. Thank you Georgetown, Marty, Marc and “the kids”.  A special thank you to Valentino Dixon for keeping your promise to stay involved.   Recognition of his Attorney, Craig Cooley for taking up the case and moving it forward into the New York Innocence Project!  Craig’s immediate commitment to helping gain Johns freedom is amazing!

John thanks each and everyone who continues to show love,care and concern for me and my family! 

Please continue to share my story, and the petition. My prayers go out to you all.  I’m in prayer daily for the many wrongfully convicted (like myself). Together we must all continue to fight for one another until we’re all home.
