Hello everyone, Here’s an important update about our peaceful protest for inclusion. 📅 NEW DATE: Tuesday, November 18 ⏰ TIME: 5:30–7:00 PM 📍 LOCATION: Outside the private portion of the MCSD School Board meeting 🏫 ADDRESS: STEAM Center — 2900 Green St, Merced, CA 95340 Due to the weather — and because my child’s class was finally invited to attend Friday’s Merced College field trip (and I’ll be helping them) — I’m moving the protest to a time when more families can safely participate and when the district’s decision-makers will be present. After the protest, I will speak during public comment at the School Board meeting and formally submit this petition. This movement is about ending the ongoing exclusion of MCOE students from events, field trips, and school-wide communications. Our children learn on the same campuses, yet they continue to be left out. Families shouldn’t have to post publicly, start petitions, or protest just to secure basic inclusion for their children. Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared. Please continue spreading the word before Tuesday’s meeting. Our children deserve to be full members of their school community.
