The greyhounds have crossed the finish line in Florida! Thanks to the passage of Amendment 13 on the ballot in 2018, all dog tracks in the Sunshine State were ordered to close by December 2020. The Palm Beach Kennel Club was the last to comply and held its final race on New Year's Eve. Good riddance! Now, greyhound advocates have the power to prohibit dog racing nationwide by passing the Greyhound Protection Act.
