Dear Supporters

I will be sending this petition shortly to the decision-maker, the New South Wales Minister for Agriculture, Tara Moriarty.

This is an appropriate time to let her know the views of more than 13,000 people who have expressed their concern, horror, amazement and disgust that rodeos are still being held in 21st century Australia.

I hope that your signatures, and the heartfelt comments many of you have made, will make Minister Moriarty think twice before she renews the exemption for rodeos from animal cruelty laws on 1 February next year.

Whatever happens, thank you for support, and please continue to speak up against the many injustices our society continues to inflict on the animals around us.

Thanks also to the dedicated volunteers at AnimalKind and Animal Liberation NSW, who have provided me with the photos of rodeo cruelty which I have shared with you.
