Parental Alienation and associated disorders

Parental alienation is often associated with other mental disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This is a critical reason to involve LMFTs. Working with mental health professionals can get these types of mental health issues diagnosed so that every child can have 2 parents. No child should suffer over the mental health of their own parent when both parents want to be involved.
