I'd like to thank everyone for your signatures on this petition! We are just about halfway to reaching the 500 signature mark, at which point I'll be able to send the petition to the MoveUP union (the employee union responsible for the strike at Capilano University), as well as to Capilano University itself and to other government officials.

The strike at Capilano University continues to be in effect, and with that, no further contact with our professors, and no word from the university speaking to the end of the strike. This means an entire semester (and the associated tuition fees that we've paid) will have gone to waste if the strike continues past June 23rd (the semester end date).

I want to thank everyone who's re-shared this petition, and gotten other people to sign, because this makes a huge impact on the number of signatures that we've received.
