223,500 cattle, including 21,131 animals loaded from Townsville, were exported from Australia in the first five months of 2022, far less than during the same period in 2021 when 338,524 cattle were exported from Australia. We now have a new Labor government that says they will end live sheep exports but not cattle exports.
