Last year  86  live export ships loaded cattle from the Port of Townsville with 338,818 cattle exported in the first 11 months (Dept of Agriculture figures correct as at 30/11/19). Already this year three livestock carriers, including the world's largest livestock carrier the Ocean Shearer, capacity 20,000 cattle,  have left  Townsville. The Finola for the Philippines and the Greyman Express and Ocean Shearer for Vietnam.
