Despite the RSPCA describing Vietnam as the most dangerous  destination for  exported cattle, so far this year 29 live export ships have taken  cattle from Townsville  to Vietnam for slaughter. Our government and the live exporters know ESCAS is failing to protect animals, like these who left Townsville for Vung Tau this month on the Ocean Swagman, from being handled and slaughtered in ways that would be illegal in Australia but continue to send cattle there.
