11 feared dead in overnight shooting in Jos

About 11 people have been reported dead following a late evening shooting in Latya and Lakwandet communities in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The shooters who reportedly stormed the communities on a military patrol van opened fire at random, and fleeing within minutes.

Sources say some of the shooters wore military camouflage uniforms.

Local authorities are still to confirm the reports.
