What an incredible mark we've hit!

The more signatures we have the more voice we will be able to bring to the IOC this year to allow women in the Olympic Decathlon for the first time in history! Now that we're one of the TOP PETITIONS ON CHANGE.ORG we will have a great starting point for the discussion! 

With so much support from the petition, media and other areas, we have been able to put together a 2021 Women's Decathlon Championship set to start August 21-22nd- just a week away! 

Luckie has done an amazing job with video production, putting together the Let Women Decathlon page, and reaching out to media to make the news spread like wildfire! Without them, the movement wouldn't be half of what it is today: the time & effort they have put forth has legitimately brought me to tears. 

With all of that gained momentum, a women's sports advocate company named Parity has set to be the Title Sponsor of the event, making it's official title, Women's Decathlon Association Championships Presented by Parity  They use their voice for women in sports all over the world and have a great platform for decreasing the gap between men & women in their pay and equality in their sports!

A lot of you have reached out to ask if there's anything else that can be done to further help give women opportunities for the event, and each and every one of you have been incredible simply by sharing your voice for change so that the next generation of women have a chance to grow up knowing that they're allowed to compete in the same events in which their male counterparts are allowed to participate. 

Being a last minute event, pulling together the funds for this year have become a slight challenge. And the great news is that out of the $7,500 needed to put on the event, $5,605 have already been raised! <3 This is largely thanks to corporations and individuals alike showing their support to help put on this event! (If you're also interested in joining those who have already donated, the link has been provided for supporting and/or sharing alike!)

Regardless of the last minute way to also help the Let Women Decathlon Cause, the 25,000 signatures on this petition are absolutely amazing. Thank you all for everything you have already done to help support women all over the globe compete for the title, World's Greatest Athlete!
