Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for your continued support of the Let Women Decathlon movement. Now that the Olympic Trials for the 2021 (2020? ;) ) Olympics are over, we're back on the race to have the Women's Decathlon included at the 2024 Olympics in 3 years!
The New York Times has published an amazing article featuring many great people/athletes. An Olympic Hurdle: Why Is the Decathlon Only for Men?
The article includes:
- Four-time Olympian and World Record holder in the Women's Heptathlon, Jackie Joyner-Kersee
- Three-time Olympian, Pat Winslow Connolly
- 2016 (and soon to be 2020) Olympian, Kendell Williams
This type of media attention and support could not happen without each one of you taking the time to stand with women all across the globe who want the opportunity to compete at the Olympics in the event they love. <3
Please continue to share so we can keep climbing the up the number of signatures and get louder in our voice for change!
Thank you all! We're going to make history yet!
