I recently released independent report: the Human Cost of the Partner Income Test. Based on a survey with almost 800 respondents, findings show a consistent patterns of harm: loss of financial independence, poverty, relationship strain, fear of disclosure, safety barriers, and loss of autonomy. My parliament e-petition EN7076 received 19,026 signatures. Social Services Minister Tanya Plibersek responded, calling it a "work incentive" and ignoring all 3 demands. Download her response here .
