We continue to demand for justice and accountability. Recently, Mecklenburg Family Court has returned Judge McCallum to family court. A move that tells us they do not take victims voices seriously. 
Judge Karen McCallum was removed from family court late 2023. Thousands of parents complained about McCallum. A 1000 signature petition called for McCallums removal. NC Court of Appeals ruled McCallum violated mother’s Constitutional rights. 
Karen McCallum was accused of racism, bias, tyranny, lawlessness and abuse. She jailed parents on a personal whim. She knowingly refused to follow the law. She allegedly favored black lawyers and carried anti-white vendetta. She is accused of giving children to abusers and of causing children's deaths. 
The outrage was such that Family Court removed McCallum and moved her to criminal court. 
At the same time, Alyssa Levine was being investigated. Allegedly Levine admitted to not understanding the law. Lawyers in tenant court were outraged. 
So politically, Family Court moved Levine to Family Court to replace McCallum. A simple switch to calm things down. A common switch. Months later they moved Judge Davis to Family Court. A judge who pleaded guilty of misdemeanor for notary signature crime. A convicted judge didnt look well in criminal court. He was “punished” to Family Court for ten months. 
Political chess games moving judges are very common in Mecklenburg. The judges who expose corruption are the only judges who are removed (Judge Belk…). Outside of that, we see almost no reprimands or investigations of judges. Judicial Standards Committee destroys victims reports and refuses to do their job. 
So judges aren’t kept accountable. They just get shoveled to different courts.  
While in criminal court, Karen McCallum became focus of viral news posts. She was accused for protecting a violent criminal. An alleged gang member and murdered. A man who allegedly shot a baby was protected and released on a lowered bond. McCallum lowered his bond from $1M to $25k. Many accused her of taking the bribe. Many said she either took the bribe or simply favored a criminal as she always does. 
And so Mecklenburg County made moves again. The now returned Karen McCallum to family court. 
Thousands of victims voices were ignored. Corruption runs deep still. 
Families are once again facing racism, bias, lawlessness and abuse in judge McCallum's court. This judge doesnt uphold the law, and is not being investigated. 

It is a sad time when our voices a silenced.
