Meeting my first Ridglan Beagle

So last Tuesday I met my first Ridglan Beagle. I have a client at work who has an employee who adopted one. What I can tell you is she was TERRIFIED of anyone else other than Tanner. It made my heart sink into my chest just seeing the literal fear in that pups eyes of strangers.

Later when I was talking to someone about this, they made a joke and asked if the pup had make up on. I was astounded by how some people find this funny. They followed up with, "DId she have make up on?" and I asked, "What do you mean by that?", and they replied, "Well, do you want safe makeup, medicines, and other products? How else do you think the products we have are safe?" 

My response, "Did you know that roughly 90% to 95% of experimental drugs that pass animal testing eventually fail during human clinical trials?" - and I left it at that. 

Sometimes people need a little bit of education to realize that what they think they know and what is actually true are two different things.
