Dear supporters,
Because of YOU, our movement Chicago Voice for the Voiceless has reached 1,363 signatures. That is 1,363 people standing up for innocent animals who suffer every single day from abuse, neglect, and a broken shelter system.
Today, I want to share something huge:
👉 I have officially submitted our full proposal and the Animal Abuser Registry plan to federal lawmakers through Change.Org’s advocacy system.
This proposal includes:
A national Animal Abuser Registry (modeled after Florida’s new law)
Mandatory cruelty background checks for shelters and rescues
A Good Samaritan protection clause so people who rescue dying animals aren’t punished
Stronger enforcement against repeat abusers
Better shelter standards and reduced euthanasia-for-space
This is a national movement now — and YOU are part of it.
But we are not done.
We need thousands more voices to show Congress and state leaders that we will NOT stay silent while animals suffer.
Every signature matters. Every share matters. Every voice matters.
🔥 Here’s how you can help today:
✔ Share this petition on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and everywhere you can.
✔ Tell 3 friends or family members why you signed.
✔ Ask one animal lover you know to read and sign.
Animals don’t have a voice.
But we do. And together, we’re getting louder.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
Let’s hit 2,000 and more signatures next and show lawmakers that this is NOT just an idea and that we have had enough and its more than just a petition.
This is a movement.
With love and determination,
Jody M Santos
