🐾 Petition Update – From Jody Santos, Founder of Chicago Voice for the Voiceless
“Enough is enough. We are not staying silent anymore.”
To each of the 1,263 people who have signed —
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
Every single signature represents hope, compassion, and the belief that animals deserve better.
I started this petition because I am tired of witnessing innocent dogs and cats suffer — chained up, emaciated, euthanized for lack of space, abandoned and forgotten and abused. And even tonight as I write this sick and exhausted, I refuse to stop fighting.
💬 Because they can’t speak — but we can.
🚨 Now is the time to push harder.
We cannot slow down now. We need at least 237 more signatures to reach our next goal, and beyond that, we need thousands more to show lawmakers that:
🔹 We are serious.
🔹 We are united.
🔹 And we will NOT be ignored.
> Enough is enough.
They all matter too.
We are the VOICE for the VOICELESS.
I believe — with all my heart — that together, we can be the change they so desperately need. They don’t get second chances unless we fight for them.
🐾 Please share this petition again.
📢 Tell your family, friends, co-workers, rescues, vets, fosters… anyone with a heart.
💛 Let them know that even sick, even struggling, I am not giving up — and neither should you.
Thank you for standing with me — and with them.
Let’s keep going. For every animal still waiting. 🐶🐱
With gratitude and determination,
Jody M. Santos
