Petition updateEnd collective punishment in BC schoolsThank you for your support!

Since launching this petition, I’ve heard from parents and caregivers across BC—each carrying a version of the same story: a child punished unfairly for the actions of others, or a child punished for being disabled--their distress treated as misbehaviour.

The grief in these stories runs deep. And what strikes me most is the hunger for somewhere to place it. Somewhere it can become part of a record—part of a movement—part of a change.

I’ve added new resources to the site:

There you’ll find family testimonies, letter templates, policy breakdowns, and advocacy tools to help turn personal pain into public action. Together, these stories are building pressure. They’re shaping media narratives, informing legal challenges, and refusing the erasure that collective punishment depends on.

If you’ve signed this petition, thank you. If you’ve shared it, thank you. If you’ve felt alone in this—know that you’re not.

There’s a movement growing.
