If your kids play ROBLOX then you need to watch them since some games are filled with mechanics that are similar to gambling but are made in a way that can bypass the legal system.

Developers on ROBLOX make spinning wheel machines and much more that cost real money through a currency called ROBUX that allows users to have chances of winning certain items. The way these developers prevent themselves from performing any illegal child gambling is by allowing kids to win something each time but usually the highest odds item will be something really small meaning and the big items usually have disappointingly low odds such as below 1%.

These low odds can cause habits for when children grow up because it causes them to keep spending and most of the time will not receive the item that they wanted causing them to feel frustrated, upset and a waste of money. I have been on ROBLOX since 2009 and this problem has definitely became worse since the COVID pandemic when everyone was using some sort of technology to communicate with each other and stay entertained.

Please make sure to share this petition around because your kids and other family and friends kids may be at risk of developing extremely bad spending habits that I think could also cause gambling habits when they grow up.

Stand by me to put a stop to ROBLOX using kids for profits instead of making them feel safe and being able to develop in a community without these activities.
