Friends, We are nearing 500 signatures, but we need hundreds more. Please keep sharing. Billy is now moving into Day 6 of his hunger. There have been 9 arrests at the Muskrat Falls blockade. Though he is growing physically weaker, Billy is standing strong with his community. Health volunteers have been checking up on him at the protest site and he is doing remarkably well under the circumstances. There is some encouraging news! Today the Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party called on Premier Dwight Ball to open the House of Assembly immediately to allow discussion of the Muskrat Falls situation. Tell them the world is watching and we hope they will not allow this unconscionable treatment of Labrador's people to continue. This small group of land protectors has shown tremendous strength.
