This morning, 12 people rescued 18 beagles from the MBR Acres animal testing breeding facility!
Earlier this year, under the project name Animal Freedom Movement, three individuals from Animal Rebellion rescued five dogs from the facility, and handed themselves into the police. Charges were quickly dropped - MBR Acres were clearly too scared to take it to court.
And now we’re back - this time as Animal Rebellion - and this will not be the last liberation! Once again, rescuers are taking full responsibility for their actions as they strongly believe they have done the right thing, and look forward to taking the matter to court, where a jury will have the power to find the rescuers not guilty. In doing this, we are putting animal testing on trial - and a not guilty verdict could prove a fatal blow to the industry.
We are thrilled that these 18 beautiful, gentle puppies will be spending their Christmas with loving families and not in miserable, unsanitary pens awaiting an excruciating torturous experimentation process.
⚠️HOWEVER, THE POLICE HAVE CAPTURED TWO ADDITIONAL DOGS, LOVE AND LIBBY. THEY ARE NOW REGARDED AS ‘CONTAMINATED PROPERTY’ AND ARE DUE TO BE KILLED.⚠️

These rescues can cost between £500-£1000 per dog.
