As most people would know by now, the Live Animal Export trading of sheep has resumed to Saudi Arabia. I feel absolutely gutted as I’m sure all animal rights groups do.
After 12 years of the Saudi trade being scrapped, they have reinstated it.
So Anthony Albanese’s political spiel to phase out Live Sheep Export is ….!
We are still waiting on the supposed report to phase it out. I will never trust any politician on this subject again, a Greens senator who seemed keen to get Live Animal Export into the spotlight again has also decided she is too busy with “other” issues to worry about the animals.

I have never felt so hopeless about the Live Animal Export issue, but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up, I just feel despair that once again we’ve been hoodwinked.

At least Liberal don’t lie about Live Animal Export, they state they will never end it..
I don’t know what’s worse, being lied to or working against an “almost” impossible.
The fact that we all got our hopes up only to be let down, I feel is worse.

So with that said, I’m holding a Protest/Awareness Day on January the 20th, the march will start at Martin Place outside the old channel 7 studio (corner of Elizabeth St and Martin Place) at 11am. The march will head down to Pitt st mall, go through the mall and right onto Druitt st, then across to Town Hall. I will be at Town Hall waiting to start the Awareness Day, so PLEASE come along and share the truth with the people who don’t know about Live Animal Export. If possible wear Orange.

If you’re not comfortable handing out flyers, you’re more than welcome to hold one of the many banners or signs I have, every bit helps, so PLEASE give 1-2 hours for the animals of the Live Animal Export trade.
