Well the Live Sheep Export trade is in full swing again, needless to say hundreds of thousands of sheep are going to die in horrific conditions, all for greed.
But it seems Anthony Albanese has forgotten this and forgotten his promise to phase out the Live Sheep Export side of this brutally, savage industry.
I am asking that everyone keep contacting their local MP and emailing Murray Watt, Richard Marles, Tanya Pilbersek and any other politician you think might listen.
If anyone knows any celebrities who may add their voice to this cause, PLEASE ask them if they would step up for the sake of the animals. We need for people to step up and do more, especially now the “promise” is there.
October 14th is the next Sydney and Perth Awareness Days.
PERTH: Anna-Lisa & Maddie are holding a Stand Against Live Animal Exports Awareness Day in Forrest Chase, it starts at 11:30 and is a protest march however if anyone doesn’t want to march and just wants to stand in the mall holding a banner, that is fine too.
SYDNEY: There will be a protest march, leaving from Lloyd Rees Fountain in Martin Place at 11:15am and march up through Pitt St Mall and will march to Town Hall, there is the usual day at Town Hall (holding banners, speakers, handing out flyers/stickers etc) but there is no obligation for anyone who marches to stay on at Town Hall.
It seems a lot of people like to march but most would prefer to leave straight after the march, that’s totally fine.
* Obviously the more people the bigger the impact, so please if you can make it, even just for the march it would be greatly appreciated.
Both Maddie and Anna-Lisa have been working extremely hard to get the information out there in Perth but there are still more people who don’t know about Live Animal Export, than those who know.
WE CAN CHANGE THAT AND LET ANTHONY ALBANESE KNOW - WE ARE WATCHING, WE ARE WAITING AND WE WILL NOT GIVE UP.
