I’ve received notice that the Melbourne Protest/Awareness Day has to be postponed. I’m really sorry.... I thought after finding a way around the indemnity insurance issue we were set to educate more people but it’s not to be at the point in time.
As soon as the pandemic has been sorted and I can get into Victoria legally we will march! I’ve had a few comments that the route (Bourke St Mall to Docklands) was not a good choice so I’d appreciate some suggestions about preferred routes. Please keep in mind though it will be a Saturday and we want to be where lots of people congregate, I am not driving to Melbourne to speak to the converted. Sadly I now look at Canberra Parliament House march and realise what a waste of time and effort for all involved because all we did was speak to the converted, so please keep that in mind with your suggestions, we are there to educate.

SYDNEY -I have applied for a Protest/Awareness Day on the 31st of October, if it’s approved I’m allowed to have 20 people march from Martin Place to Town Hall but we are not allowed to hand out flyers or stickers so I will need names before the day. As soon as I’m given a definite answer I’ll post it but I’ll need to know ahead of time who is coming and names with a phone number will need to be supplied on the day.
I have the new delivery of T shirts, they’re no longer vivid Orange, they’re more of a burnt orange. I had people say they wouldn’t wear the bright orange so for those people it has been toned down. I’ve had terrific feedback on the shopping bags, they’re a great size and very study. I’m going to have to increase the price to $3 each bag from now on though. If people want to start sending in photos os themselves wearing a Tee, out shopping with a bag or someplace they’ve put a sticker I can put the pic on the Stop The Death Ships Facebook page.
Far too many ships leaving Townsville with cattle aboard and the Sheep start shipping again on the 22nd of September, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let’s not give up on these animals even during the pandemic we can still communicate with other people and mention Live Exports, we have to TALK the TALK to be able to end this.
