Last week I saw a video that was like being punched in the stomach. The clip was of a truck with 3 trailers that were 2 tiered ( cattle on the bottom level and on the second level) being driven onto a Death ship. In the clip you could see the cattle staring out over the timber boards and their eyes looked like they were pleading, they were scared. They were being sent to Vietnam.  I cried myself to sleep that night and had vivid, horrific nightmares. Knowing what awaits these animals has a detrimental impact on many people’s health, I know I’ve  cried numerous times since seeing the clip, I have felt panicked and those feelings of despair have resurfaced.

Therefore Im begging every single person who reads this to PLEASE write to your local member, your local radio station, paper, mayor - ANYONE. You feel may listen. I’m having difficulty getting into shopping malls - our freedom of speech is fast being lost, so while we still have the freedom of speech and watered down actions - lets not waste a moment. 

The shopping mall idea is at a standstill, apparently having a display for Stand Against Live Export can be seen as controversial, it’s such a political area and totally BS! I am looking at other options to spread awareness but it seems we are “governed” everywhere. Another idea I have I will chase up this week to see if it’s feasible, but I’ll keep everyone up to date.

The Awareness/Protest Day is fast approaching so I’m reminding everyone - it is THIS COMING Saturday (3rd of August at the Channel 7 studio, Martin Place, 10:15 - we will then march to Herald Square near Circular Quay). At Herald Square we will hand out flyers, speak to people about the cruelty associated with Live Exports and hold our banners, pictures etc to inform more people of the truth.

WE NEED TO TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO BE THE VOICES OF LIVE EXPORTED ANIMALS - 

I believe this will be the last day for filming of the documentary too.....xx
