Please find an outline of the Protest March Schedule. Why did the EX agriculture minister (Sorry I don’t even want to mention his name) fly to WA to ‘comfort’ farmers? Doesn’t it make you wonder where Mr Littleproud is and why Littleproud wasn’t over there. I read an article on the front page of the Sunday paper where one farmer has to shoot his 1200 starving sheep due to lack of food and water, but we can “invest” such a large sum of money into offshore Abattoirs. WHY did our agriculture minister give $146 or $96 MILLION to Vietnam’s Abattoirs when our farmers can’t even afford to feed their animals Where is Littleproud? Something doesn’t add up, doesn’t it strike you as odd that “HE” goes to WA to see the wealthy farmers, but can’t visit our struggling farmers. For me, it raises even more questions - I believe there is far more to this than we originally thought. This government are frivolous with Tax Payers money and yet we can’t even look after our own farmers. I’m not talking about the Gina Rhinesharts, The Kidman’s or the Buntines. I’m talking about farmers who employ maybe 5-10 people or are family run. Is it because these farmers DO NOT live export? Once again it’s not our government who are helping these people, no they’re busy propping up countries that torture these animals, it’s the other hard working families of Australia who are trying to make a dollar. HOW ARE THIS GOVERNMENT getting away with it? PROTEST DAY PLAN. 21st August 2018 (This is just a guideline, times are an estimate, except the bus departing Central) 6:15 - BUS Departs Central Station. 7:15 - Collect People at Campbelltown Railway. 8:20 - Sally’s Corner, Toilet Break. (30 Mins) 8:50 - Depart Sally’s Corner. Coach Arrives. 10:30 - 10:40 - Arrive Old Parliament House. Assemble between Old Parliament House and New Parliament House on Queen Victoria Terrace. (The grass area on the New PH side) March. 11:00 - March from Old Parliament House. March up Federation Mall on the grass of Parliament House with our banners, placards etc to the area in front of the New Parliament House. The bus is definitely departing from Central Station at 6:15am (NO LATER), it will also make a stop at Campbelltown Railway Station to pick up some passengers, so if you are out that way and Campbelltown Station is easier for you, you are welcome to board the bus there. I will phone EVERYONE who is catching the bus, on the weekend prior, just to check in ad make sure you’re all still good to go. The bus will drop you off at the assembly point, so you won’t have to walk from the car park.
