End animal abuse in Chinese fur farms

End animal abuse in Chinese fur farms
The Issue
Since animal abuse in Chinese fur farms is not illegal, a variety of animals suffer every minute of their lives since the day they were born. Animals such as minks, foxes, chinchillas, lynxes and cats are murdered for their fur.
They are housed in cramped cages living with stress, disease, parasites, and other physical and psychological hardships, which are overlooked due to the fact that they are going to soon die anyway for their fur. Female minks are forced to breed and cope with their offspring being killed at only 6 months of age.
Imagine watching your friends get thrown onto the ground and beaten with a metal rod until all their bones have broken, for you to realise it's your own turn soon. You yourself are then flipped onto your back and hanged by your legs or tail, slowly being skinned, while having your neck stomped on as you try to struggle to keep still. Soon after your fur has been peeled off you are thrown into a pile of dead bloody friends which some are still alive gasping for air until they slowly die with you.
As a 17 year old student aspiring to study Veterinary Medicine next year at University, I have always believed in the protection of animals and maintaining their health and wellbeing. We live in a world where animals are overlooked, and I myself am not enough to eradicate such disgusting behaviour towards animals. I know we cannot stop fur farming as a whole, however unnecessary abuse of animals is something which can be stopped. Everyday I feel guilty about how animals are treated in the world and it's time for me to do something about it. And you can too by just a simple click.
