Urgent Plea for Solidarity - "Unprecedent Dissapointment & Unmet Support" Jeopardizing the Campaign

Dear Supporters and Advocates,
We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing to you with a heavy heart to update you on our ongoing petition.
The campaign, initiated with an unyielding commitment to social justice, strives to redress the immeasurable harm inflicted on countless communities due to the longstanding and often misguided War on Drugs.
Yet, we find ourselves deeply disappointed at this point. We had initiated this campaign exactly 16 days ago with the hopes of finding allies within the organizations, institutions, and communities directly affected by these policies. But unfortunately, and frankly, it seems that the support we anticipated, especially from international & global institutions leading the job of harm reduction, drug policy reforms and the international network of people who use drugs (to be specific), is not forthcoming. It appears our cries for justice, thus far, have fallen on deaf ears, even of our own community's.
We do not say that everyone who we’re calling must support & sign this petition, NO! every individual has the right to support or not to support. But at least, those who claim and are leading the job of Harm Reduction, Drug Policy Reforms, Human Rights & Justice and those who are being paid in these names MUST come forward and show some support.
We would like to stress that our disappointment is not borne out of resentment, but rather from our collective need to address this issue. It is a deeply held belief that we share with you all, that a united front from these organizations and communities is vital in our fight against the systemic injustices perpetuated by the War on Drugs.
Our goal with this campaign is to bring recognition, reparations, and support to the communities that have been deeply scarred by half a century of destructive drug policies.
We understand the enormity of the task at hand and the complex challenges we face, but we cannot let this deter us. Let us not be disheartened, for every struggle in the cause of justice is worth our collective effort. Remember, every voice counts, every signature matters, and every step forward brings us closer to our goal.
Thank you for standing with us.
In Solidarity,
