Your continued sharing and online support has meant the world to the library! We are now asking for those who can, to physically show up next Tuesday August 19th to the Morrisville Borough Council meeting at 7pm. It is held at Borough Hall, 35 Union Street.

It has been brought to our attention that the library will be a topic of discussion at this meeting, and that the borough will be voting (possibly at a later date) on whether or not they would like to continue to receive state aid funding for the library. Losing that funding would allow the borough to make drastic changes to our beloved library as well as threaten its very existence.

Please spread the word and plan to attend this meeting! In public comment, please:
1) state your support for the library and its programs, 
2) ask/demand that the borough hire a head librarian to fill the 6-month vacancy, 
and a youth librarian
3) ask that the library continue to receive state funding and continue to be open 45 hours or more per week,
4) ask that library board members be appointed or reappointed to fill the 3 vacancies. Three board positions expired in March 2025 and no one was appointed to fill them.
