Reinstate Foxyzilla from her unjust ban from Twitch

The Issue

Hi fellow gamers,

As some of you may know Mariah a.k.a Foxyzilla has recently been banned from Twitch.TV effectively terminating her account, source of income, and partnership with Twitch.

For those of you who do not know the full story Mariah was targeted by another user using a third party program to activate large numbers of subscribers to her account (subscriptions cost around $5 with a percentage of that going to Twitch.TV and to Mariah directly). Mariah reached out to Twitch staff inquiring if this was ok and if she would face any negative repercussions because of this. The staff member informed her that everything was fine and she had nothing to worry about.

The user again did a spam subscription to which Mariah was asking to stop. The result of this was that the third party program was found to be using stolen credit cards to subscribe to her account. Twitch.TV then decided to "make a business decision" and ban her account because of this.

Mariah was in a partnership with Twitch.TV essentially like an employee with the company. As soon as something happened to her they decided to fire her instead of stand by their partnership. This is the same as working in a restaurant and having a customer pay for their meal with a stolen credit card. Then the manager fires the employee because the meal was bought with a stolen card. This makes no sense whatsoever, why would you fire an employee over A) something that is out of their control (Twitch lacks a verification system to check on donations/subscriptions) and B) she did not directly violate the terms of service set out by Twitch making the account ban unjustified.

The icing on the cake is that some of Mariah's followers and subscribers who have paid for a subscription (some individuals subscribed for multiple months totaling over $50-60) were informed that 1) they would not get their money back (this right here is flat out theft by Twitch.TV), 2) the original pay split between Twitch and Mariah during the time of her partnership would not be honored (this means Twitch.TV is keeping all of the subscription dollars received for themselves once again flat out theft).

At this time Mariah simply wants her account reinstated. She has provided evidence and messages back and forth between Twitch.TV to demonstrate that she did her due diligence in this manner to prove that she was targeted and even inquired to the validity of the matter. Twitch.TV has failed to reinstate her account on any level. If you have ever viewed Foxyzilla on Twitch I am asking you to sign and send this petition to others so that Twitch.TV will fix the error they have made on their end.

People at Twitch.TV we should direct our querries to are Emmett Shear CEO, Kevin Lin COO, and Jacob Woodsey VP Community. I have messaged Emmett through LinkedIn and Mariah has tweeted at him and he has currently provided no response.

Please make sure as many people see this as possible. I would hate for this to turn into the whole Youtube.com DMCA fiasco.
