We the people of Michigan voted overwhelming to have the use of medical marijuana legalized. Since it has become legal S.A.N.E. (Strait’s Area Narcotics Enforcement) has found access to the caregivers' registry and used the information to set up, watch, invade, destroy & steal property.   In every home they invade, rights are trampled and children are permanently scarred, over a plant that is nearly legal. These caregivers they are persecuting are not dirt bags selling poison on the streets but hard working individuals seeking to help others and make the world less reliant on the use of prescription drugs which overwhelm our bodies with harmful side effects and make more problems and medical costs arise. They are not getting rich from selling plants but have made huge investments in the business of helping the well being of others only to have every cent in their homes taken, and anything and everything of worth robbed!!.  This petition specifically is asking that Emmet County be removed from Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement's jurisdiction and that all officers involved in SANE be barred from law enforcement of any kind in this county.  They are not wanted here in any way, not for cannabis especially, but we also do not want them hurting and demoralizing the addicts among us who are sick and suffering and need help, not a gun shoved down their throat.  Shame on SANE!
