1. Julian Assange is appealing against the decision of the Home Secretary to deport him to the US to face espionage charges for exposing US war crimes in Iraq in Wikileks postings in 2010-11.
2. Newspapers who published these American secret cables such as the Guardian and New York Times have not been prosecuted.
3. An enormous ranges of individuals such a leading officials at the UN and the International Federation of Journalists are supporting Julian Assange.
4. The national campaign for Julian Assange is organizing the showing of a two hour film and Q & A sessions at 19 venues across the country including at the Midlands Arts Centre.
5. The national campaign has organized a London demonstration on Saturday 8th October.
