Should we really be obligated to wear uniform?

Should we really be obligated to wear uniform?
The Issue
Are you sick & tired of being obligated to wear a school uniform? Are you tired of getting pulled out of class over a hoodie? Well, I am!
In our School district, we should be allowed to wear what we desire. I believe we should fight for our right to be allowed to wear our own clothes. Reason #1: The Fairness, in other schools outside of our district they don’t have a uniform policy & even some in our district rarely ever follow their uniform policy. In Elizabeth High Schools, we must wear our shirts buttoned all the way with the Khaki Pants. Secondly, we the students lack creativity/individuality. We don’t get to express ourselves at all. Some students may want to come dressed up showing off their outfit, or new shoes but we can’t. We are required to wear our button-up shirts with khaki pants all day for five days. Especially after our gym classes. Another reason why uniform should be abolished is because of how Elizabeth High Schools focus more on our uniforms then our education. Every day at J. Christian Bollwage Finance Academy, as soon as we enter the door we are required to take off all jackets, hoodies, & sweaters. Then later on in the day, security will come class to class & pull students out from their class to remove a simple hoodie. This is a huge distraction as the whole class is interrupted thus stopping the learning.
