Eliminate WHOM from the English Language

The Issue

To who it might concern:

In the age when English pronouns are undergoing reform, let's dispose of another one whom. This object pronoun is archaic and pretentious.  Parting is such sweet sorrow, but it's lived its life, and its time has come to say goodbye.

For Who the Bell Tolls rolls off the tongue just fine.
