Today I was on ABC News about the disgraceful "gay panic" law still legal in Queensland – and the government's silence. A man was brutally killed in my church's grounds, and one of his killers used this homophobic defence. They were eventually acquitted of murder. Yet the Labor government is standing by as this dangerous, disgusting law is on our books – I can't believe their delays. They promised to remove it, but there's been no action since they got elected...
