It is unacceptable for the University of Kentucky to honor Adolph Rupp, known racist. His transgressions have been well documented in books and published articles.

The University of Kentucky is best known for their basketball team. They are constantly in high-profile games on national television. For the University of Kentucky to honor a known racist is one thing, but to invade the homes of all college basketball fans'- and sports fans in general- with praise of him is something completely different.

And it is something that should no longer be accepted.

Every time Kentucky plays a home basketball game, many people are forced to decide between their moral beliefs of not being racist and their desire to watch high-level basketball competition. 

Enough is enough. 

For the last couple of years, we have all watched America make steps to erase historic figures for their views, such as Confederate commanders like Robert E Lee. It is only right that we continue that progress by no longer allowing the memory of Adolph Rupp to haunt sports fans in the SEC and across our great country.
