Dear Electronic Arts (EA),

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your continuous support thus far of our beloved mod: Renegade X. You have let us create, play, and enjoy this wonderful Command and Conquer Renegade mod for several years now, so long as we do not monetize this title in any way. We have respected that request throughout many years, and have no issue with it, for this mod is created out of love for the series, the original game, and the specific gamemode within the game. We understand that EA was vital in creating the original game, which we both applaud and thank you for.

Secondly, and this is the object of this petition; we humbly request that you allow Totem Arts (the developers of this mod) to create a Steam Greenlight application for Renegade X. This mod means a lot to us, and we feel that it has developed into something absolutely wonderful. We want more people to be able to experience this mod with us, and feel as if Steam would provide the best way for this to be possible. It is our opinion that it will be treated with open arms, as it is nostalgia for many and an amazing new experience for others. The mod was released into public beta shortly over a year ago, and has since received 4 massive updates from the devoted developers and help from a private beta team. It is continuing to be improved through updates and has been crafted into a mod that can help introduce new people into the C&C world, or expand the world for C&C veterans. We understand that we need your approval and consent for this action to occur. 

As there already are Command and Conquer games on Steam, this would be an extension of the Command and Conquer world into Steam, rather than an introduction. Since this multiplayer mod is absolutely 100% free, we believe that EA would also benefit from this greatly. It is our belief that people will want to explore what the C&C series has to offer after playing this mod, and get as entranced in it as we have. Please allow this dream of ours to come true by allowing us to take part in this aforementioned action.
