2000+ of us. Let's keep moving.

There are thousands of us! Yesterday the petition went over 2000 signatures. To keep building the campaign, we need to spread it to (and better within) towns other than Bedford and the cities. We need to find allies amongst employers, MPs and political partes, other campaigning groups, patient groups, unions, local rail user groups, local media, disability groups, age UK, developers and estate agents, etc, etc. Do you have relevant contacts? Do you live or work somewhere on the line other than living in Bedford/working in London? We also need a core group who will keep in more frequent contact via facebook. You _don’t_ particularly need campaigning experience, or knowledge about railways to be part of the core group: what the group needs is people who are willing to say about a particular task “I’ll give it a try”! Whether or not you can help with spreading the campaign or on the core group, if you haven’t already, please look at fb.me/EastMidsRailCampaign and if you are on facebook, please join www.facebook.com/groups/EastMidlandsPassengers Spreading the campaign to other towns is probably top priority. The leaflet has been designed, so we should have thousands of copies in a few days (leaflets on seats, or handed to passengers, ON TRAINS would be a massive help – can anyone help with that?).
