Cannon Ridge vote, Save the Date Nov. 5th.

Picture of a Prehistoric Native American Fish Trap in the Rappahannock River next to Cannon Ridge. It's just one of over 50 Historic sites that are in the general area.
The Blue line is the proposed river crossing. The river crossing pedestrian trail will get a birds eye view of the fish trap and probably Scott's Mill that is circled in red.
First, I want to thank everybody that has sent emails and filled out the survey supporting a Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge!
The vote on including Cannon Ridge as a Park in the Comprehensive Plan has been postponed until November 5th.
Please save the date of Nov. 5th at 6:30 PM. The Supervisors will be voting on sending the Comprehensive Plan to Public Hearing.
Thea Historical Events Park and Fairgrounds at Cannon Ridge is part of the plan. It has the endorsements of the Planning Commission, the Historic Commission and the Parks Commission.
I will make a three-minute presentation on the Historical Events Park at Cannon Ridge and need support from the Audience! Anyone that wants to speak will have 3-minutes, but just being there would be Support Enough!
The meeting will be at the Stafford Government Center at
1300 Courthouse Rd, Stafford, VA 22554
If you can't make the meeting please email the Supervisors and tell them you support a Historic Events Park and Fairgrounds at Cannon Ridge! Stating the election district or zip code you are in is helpful, but not necessary.
