Last Day to help secure the Right-of-way for the River Crossing

Last Day to complete Survey!!!
Picture of proposed river crossing with a bird's eye view from the observation deck trail of a prehistoric Native American Fish Trap that is called a Weir.
Please help to secure the Right-of-way for the River Crossing by supporting a Park Designation in the Comprehensive Plan for Cannon Ridge. Designating the land as a Park in the Comp Plan helps to prevent it from being rezoned for Residential and it will allow Stafford to apply for Federal and State Grant funding to secure the Park and Right-of-way.
The River Crossing is already approved in the plan. The Park designation will keep it that way and help with enhancing the funding options.
A Parks survey is being done to get feedback of future Park improvements to be included in the Comprehensive Plan.
The Parks survey is simple and easy. Please click the link below to support a Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge. I'm also proposing the Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk.
Make sure you write in "Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge" in all the boxes that are in the Survey.
Question #15 asked for Park ideas. My suggestions are as follows;
1. A Historic Events Park, Fairgrounds and the Waterfall Trail at the closed Cannon Ridge Golf Course.
2. Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk and Trail.
Question 16.
The Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk and Trail would go from the Mine Road Extension to the Accokeek Furnace and Mill Site behind Colonial Forge HS.
