First, I want to thank everyone for your support. The River crossing petition has over 7,000 signatures on both paper and the online petitions.

I lost my other Facebook account and miss my friends. Please click on my facebook links on the bottom to friend me.

The River Crossing is in the Stafford Comprehensive Plan and the FAMPO long range plan waiting for more funding but could still use a shout out at the Comprehensive plan meetings.

Please come to one of two meetings to support the River Crossing, a Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge and the Proposed Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk Trail.

Stafford citizens have an opportunity to help Plan Stafford County!

The Comprehensive Plan is a Blueprint with land use maps that designates areas of the County for Businesses, Data Centers, Houses, Multifamily housing, new road Connections, Parks, new Trails and areas for water and sewer.

The meeting is an informational meeting to gather input from the Citizens.
It's not a Public Hearing, so you can speak one on one with Planning Staff and Planning Commission members.

I will be at the meeting collecting petition signatures for a Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge (Banks Ford) and a Boardwalk proposed to lead to Accokeek Furnace connecting to the Mine Road extension and the Historic Furnace site behind Colonial Forge high school.

The first meeting will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in Room A of the Courthouse Community Center, 29 Stafford Ave., Stafford, VA 22554.

A second meeting will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria of Stafford High School, 63 Stafford Indians Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.

I hope to see you at one of the two meetings! Anyone that wants to help me set up, please let me know.

Thanks for your support,
Joe Brito
