The River Crossing Study had a comparison of Bridges in other Virginia Planning Districts. The Fredericksburg Area had a higher Population, and the fewest Bridges and Lanes in the Comparison. Fredericksburg also had a higher Traffic volume than the other Jurisdiction. This comparison points out the need for a New Bridge.

FAMPO Officials will hold a Public Hearing on a new River Crossing Bridge.

The Public Hearing will be held on Monday

The Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) will hold a Public Hearing on a new River Crossing Bridge.

The Public Hearing will be held on Monday May 15th at 6 PM.

The Hearing has been moved to a larger building at the VDOT District Auditorium at 86 Deacon Road, Falmouth, Virginia 22405

78% of the people that responded, YES to the FAMPO survey when asked if they supported a River Crossing!!!

Unfortunately people show up at hearings because they are against a proposal while the supporters stay home.

We need Speakers in support of the River Crossing and Trail! Please consider speaking. All you have to say is "I support a new River Crossing and Trail."
