Resignation of Austin Police Chief Brian Manley, and officers involved in shooting on 5/7

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

On 05/07/2017, Austin Police officers shot and killed Landon Nobles in the entertainment district in downtown Austin, TX after reported shots were fired into the air.

Austin Police Department is claiming that they used surveillance footage from, HALO (High Activity Location Observation) to find the suspected shooter, in under 3 minutes. The entire ordeal took about 30 minutes. https://patch.com/texas/downtownaustin/austin-police-confirm-another-officer-involved-shooting-one-along-6th-street

For some reason, when there are violent incident's persons of color are targeted with deadly force. No tasers are used, the officers always pull their guns and shoot the suspect multiple times.

I am requesting that the City of Austin ask Brian Manley to resign, this is not the first time that he has been untruthful when it comes to officer involved shootings. There was a previous incident in Austin on 04/07/2017, with victim Lawrence Parrish.  https://patch.com/texas/eastaustin/east-austin-man-shot-police-didnt-fire-first-originally-stated-chief-manley

I am requesting that with officer involved shootings on 05/07/2017 are asked to resign as well, with no paid administrative leave. The City should not be paying these criminals for their mistakes.
